The Howling Sands is a vast, arid landscape. It may seem empty, but its biomes are diverse and dangerous:
ðïļ Great Dunes
Endless seas of sand. Hard to navigate and often hiding Scarak nests under the surface.
ðī Lush Oases
Rare pockets of water and palm tress. Essential for refilling waterskins and finding food.
ð§ą Red Canyons
Mazes of red stone cliffs. Often contain mines and abandoned infrastructure.
ðū Savannas
Border regions with dry grass and acacia trees. Safer than deep desert.
Inhabitants
Neutral: The Ferans
The Ferans are a nomadic, fox-like race enslaved by the Scaraks in the past. They are wary of strangers but can become loyal allies.
- â Culture: Scavengers and shamans who worship the wind.
- â Trading: Offer rare artifacts and desert survival gear.
- â Status: Neutral (Don't attack them!).
Feran Lore
Look for bracelets on their wrists - remnants of their slavery.
Hostile: The Scarak Swarm
Scaraks are a hive-mind insect race that dominates the desert. They are highly organized and dangerous.

Step pyramids filled with traps and undead guardians. High tier loot inside.
